G's 5th b'day

Sorry they are late! Grant turned 5 back in June. We took him and his friend Clayton to Chuck E Cheese and then we went bowling! We all had a good time. I can't believe that he is already 5! Time goes by fast!

Grant's 4K Graduation

Grant graduated from 4K in May. His school had a big graduation ceremony for them. It was really good. Grant had a good time performing for everyone. I can't believe that he will be starting Kindergarten in August. They sure grow up FAST!

Mother's Day

We loaded up in the car and headed down to Montgomery for Mother's day. This allowed us to spend some time with Cookie Grandma, Nonnie, and Gigi. We all had a great day. I am truly blessed to have two wonderful children.

Alabama Baseball Game

Billy and Grant went to the Alabama Baseball game on Sunday. They had a great time. Billy said that it was a really great game. He got to see two of his former players play and they were both instrumental in the 3 to 2 win over the Kentucky Wildcats. After the game Grant got to run the bases. Easter Sunday 2009

We hope that everyone had a Blessed Easter! We sure did. Grant and Billy made it to Sunrise Service. While they were gone, I let the Easter Bunny in. Grant and Riley sure did get a bunch of stuff in their baskets. We all made it to Church and then we finished it off by having lunch at Nonnie and Poppy's. Oh and by the way, I have some great news. Chris and Rachel got engaged. I thought that this day would never get here. We wish them all the best!

Grant is starting t-ball this year. He is really excited. It must be nice to have a daddy that is a coach. Billy brought home the paint that he paints the baseball field with. He then made Grant his own "Field of Dreams" in our backyard. When they said that if you build it they will come, they were right. We became the most popular house in the neighborhood.

Riley's 2nd Birthday!

Riley turned 2 on March 5. We had a small party for her at our house. We figured that it would be our last year for a small party. Billy grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. A great time was had by all. I cannot believe that she is already 2! Where does the time go?

Coach P gets inducted into the Alabama Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame

Coach Patterson got inducted into the Coaches Hall of Fame back in January. Billy and I were invited to attend. This is was a great honor for Coach P. He is a great guy as well as a great coach!

As most of you know we had a good amount of snow on Sunday. The kids had a lot of fun playing outside. We got to spend a lot of time as a family which is unusual for this time of year.

Disney World

We went to Disney World right after Christmas. We all had a great time! It was Grant and Riley's first time on a plane. They both did really well. Riley was really funny. She didn't understand about waiting in line. She told several people to move and get out of her way. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. The kids really loved running over the bridge inside the lobby. The only downfall was that it was really crowded. We will never go during this time again. We will also wait until Riley is at least 5. She was a little too young. All in all it was a good trip. All I can say is thank God for Muff. We wouldn't have survived without her! On the way home we lost a piece of lugage. Of course it was mine! The good news was that they found it and delivered it to our house the following day. We were all glad to be home again.

Chrstmas Day 08

We had a wonderful Christmas! The kids must have been good in the eyes of Santa because they sure got a lot of stuff. We also went to Disney World. I will upload some of those photos later. Sorry that I haven't updated the blog in a while. We have plenty of pictures to post but the Internet service that we have at home is junk. I can't post any pictures from it. We hopefully will be getting new Internet next week. We are all doing fine. The kids and I are enjoying the summer and Billy is still working. It seems that every year baseball season gets longer and longer. Today is the last day for summer ball, so maybe we can see a little more of him before school starts. I hope that all is well with everyone. I will post some pictures as soon as I can.

I am sorry that I haven't updated the blog in a long time! It is baseball season and that means that I am practically a single mom with two kids. We had snow in Mount Olive on January 2. The snow was man made, however the kids didn't know the difference. Grant and Billy went out and played in the snow! Grant had a good time until his hands got wet and cold. Then he was through with the snow!

Homecoming 2007

We took the kids down to Tuscaloosa over the weekend. It was homecoming and we wanted to experience the whole family thing. The kids were great sports and they had a great time. Riley liked the band and the cheerleaders. We also went to see the Alabama Baseball team scrimmage. The baseball pics are of Jake Smith (one of Billy's former players.) It was a close one, but Grant pulled out the victory. He remains undefeated and RC is now 1-0. Unlike half of the fans, we stayed for the whole game. ROLL TIDE!!!
